Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition with a wide range of symptoms. It requires a comprehensive evaluation to differentiate it from other conditions with similar symptoms. We leverage licensed psychologists to evaluate our patients' assessment.
Our psychologists are professionals with specialized training in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychological conditions, including ADHD. Their expertise allows them to conduct thorough evaluations and interpret the results accurately. ADHD shares symptoms with other conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and learning disabilities. Our psychologists' expertise enables them to differentiate between these conditions and make an accurate diagnosis.
When evaluating an assessment, our psychologists take into account the patient's medical history, developmental milestones, and family history to gain a broader perspective on their condition. They also adhere to ethical guidelines and follow standardized DSM-5 diagnostic criteria to ensure that our assessment is reliable an evaluated with integrity.
Our patient portal system assigns your assessment to a psychologist within our network who is licensed to practice in your home state. Matching your assessment to a psychologist licensed to practice in the state that you permanently reside in is crucial to the formality of which the diagnosis is made. We are proud to have licensed psychologists in all 50 states to perform formal ADHD assessments.
If a patient meets the diagnostic criteria for ADHD, our psychologists will grant the diagnosis, along with information about how their symptoms meet the criteria and personalized recommendations for ongoing treatment and support. If the criteria are not met, our psychologists will indicate that the patient is not diagnosed with ADHD and will provide information and resources to address the concerns that led the patient to seeking an evaluation.
