How do I get a prescription from ADHD Online? Follow
Before you are able to get a prescription for any medication from ADHD Online, you must complete our online assessment. Once you submit your assessment, it will be reviewed by one of our psychologists licensed in your state. The provider will render a diagnosis and recommendations that may or may not be ADHD based on the clinical criteria required for the diagnostic process.
Helpful Tip: Psychologists can't prescribe medications. In order to receive a prescription for your ADHD, you must be seen by a provider who is licensed to prescribe medications in your state. We offer Medical Treatment services in 40 states. You may select to see one of these providers in virtual visits, or you can take your results to your local provider. To see one of our providers, make an initial consultation appointment through your patient portal. During this visit, you and your clinician will discuss your treatment options and develop a personalized treatment plan. This may include medication and/or therapy recommendations. Your treating provider will decide which medication and treatment is best for you. Your provider will send in a 30-day supply of medication at each visit. Our providers are only able to order 30 days of medication at a time due to DEA regulations.
In order to get your refills between visits, here are the steps:
- Submit your Medication Refill request form from your patient portal 7-10 days prior to your last dose.
- Your medication will be available for you to pick up 30 days from the date you picked up the last prescription.
- Check your Medications tab in your patient portal prior to going to the pharmacy to see if the refill has been sent.
- If you encounter problems due to medication shortages or other issues, please contact our support team by phone or submit an appropriate support request.
