As a patient, it is understandable to have concerns about the confidentiality and privacy of your assessment results. Protecting your privacy is of utmost importance to us.
Healthcare providers and organizations are bound by strict legal obligations, such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in the United States, to maintain the confidentiality of patient information. These laws impose severe penalties for any breach of patient privacy.
Your assessment will be evaluated by trained and qualified professionals who understand the importance of confidentiality and privacy. All Mentavi Health providers are required to uphold ethical standards and prioritize patient confidentiality.
Your patient portal utilizes robust security measures to ensure that your private health information is protected and secured. This includes encryption, access controls, and other technological safeguards to prevent unauthorized access.
Before undergoing the assessment or treatment, you will receive information about how your data will be used and shared. You have the right to give informed consent and can request clarification on any concerns you may have.
Mentavi Health will never share your confidential results with anyone unless you authorize permission to do so. This includes a patient's primary care physician, therapist, family member or friend, etc. If you would like to share your results with someone, patients have the option to download their entire assessment from their patient portal and send it to their local healthcare provider. The patient portal also has a fax option if you need to fax your results.
